The development could have been more... Charlie could have been entranced by Anne Marie’s kindness and innate child curiosity and slowly began to care about her leading to him choosing her over his stopwatch. Carface’s goon could have slowly been starting to see Carface for what he really is: a good for nothing bad dog. He could have been slightly foiling Carface’s plans until finally he realizes he too needs to be a good dog and is the one that gets Anne Marie to safety.

Teddy will now has a better life he will now live in are hearts

R.I.P Judith I feel horrible not a lot of people know she died at ten years old. During the last song she could barely get to it without crying or breaking down due to the abuse her father inflicted on her and her mother.

This movie is one of those movies you watch when the emotional pain isn't painful enough and you haven't sobbed hard enough.

Does nobody know that the voice actor for the little girl died?? She was murdered by her father in her birthday - her name was Judy and she was shot in the head and she didn’t get to see the movie cause she died a couple weeks before it came out - it was the moms fault that her daughter died :/

9:35 well..i wondered this to myself then was curious how itchy survived his ordeal after being tortued by carface to know of the girls hiding place. My guess is that carface only allowed itchy to live cause he knew he would run back to charlie, which he did and carface and his thugs followed him.

I did see this as a kid, and unlike Land Before Time (which was just drearily over-sad and featured tiny little creatures constantly running in fear of a giant monster) this was just.. forgettable. I only really remembered Annabelle being hot, for a dog. So curious if this was not doing well financially or critically, how did this get a whole cartoon show sequel?

I Believe what happen with Killer during the battle (Although it didnt show since Charlie is the main focus) While Charlie runs to save Anne Marie who is on the box in the water Carface commanded Killer to stop Charlie but Killer replied "you're on your own this time boss this can only end in tears im getting outta here" And Killer ran to get out of the boat He manneged to get in the water but During his escape Killer accidently got his right leg injured So Killer had to Limp and swim all the way to shore until He spotted Anne Marie on the wood Killer felt bad for her(I think Killer had A sad Past when he was a puppy his own mother and siblings were killed by A man who kills animals for money) So Killer pushes Anne Marie to safety after he got her to safety Killer limped all the way to shore

One of my biggest gripes with this movie is that it just _isn’t long enough._ If this movie would’ve been at least 20 mins longer, I think it would’ve been literally amazing. A lot of the problems I find is that characters just don’t really get the characterization they need. Charlie liking Anne-Marie makes sense if there were just a few more scenes showing that. Same goes for when Charlie and Anne-Marie fall down into that pit and the gator starts singing, it just doesn’t have the right kind of build up for the eventual show off. If more scenes played themselves out a little more and allowed characters to get to know one another better it would’ve made way more sense.

10:24 Charlie help them out quite a bit so they needed to help him. 10:32 he probably soft up to her when Car Face put her in danger. 10:48 He isn’t truly evil, just really loyal and with Car Face dead no one was giving him orders. Plus he couldn’t just let her die.

I do hate that alot of film and media like to portray cats as evil and abominable demons of pure hatred when in all of reality cats can be the most caring loving and tender pets anyone could have. I've had one of the sweetest and most unique cat ever in my life for most of her life until the time came where we had to have gisselle put down because of stage 4 kidney disease and I was torn to pieces just watching her slowly fade away from my life and I'll never find a cat like her again

That’s what I like about dogs they’re selfless creatures that take care and look after their humans. They’re our friends. Like a nanny that keeps a sharp eye on the children.

- Carface and charlie were both bad-influences on their sidekicks; With them out of the picture, All you have are two individuals who no longer can depend on them and their deceitful ways because theres no point anymore, Theyre alone and have to be different, Things cant stay the way they are anymore from them watching their freinds die as well. Following the disney-way as Bluth is inclined to, Protagonist and antagonist are one and the same until one strays to worse evil and another to a moral-compass which is why carface and charlie are so similar yet so different like their sidekicks. - Charlie and carface are implied to have been heavy-hitting types who stole from and hurt people and animals for profit, And also shared gambling-venues which means they tried to spread their influence all over the turf they controlled and (at least to dogs) gained reputations. Like 'Scar face' the movie, Just with dogs. And if you know that movie.. Tony montana and his freind did the same thing with drugs. Only they couldnt let that be known in this because its a kids movie that they sold drugs or did those things, Were it was obvious in scar face. - All dogs really go to heaven. And humans, Well if theyre good anyway. How do i know? Ill let youu decide..

The answer to question number one because all dogs loyal to each other. Itchy fell in love with a girl when he seen how much she cared for Charlie And need a shoulder. Throughout the movie the side kick showed signs of remorse for the actions he was taking he also is the dog that invented the ray gun.

Don't get me wrong, I love Don Bluth but he always draws the same character like dimitri looks like the fairy prince.
